Terms of use

By using Rank My PT or Rank My Gym you agree to these terms. We operate from Australia and these terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. We may suspend accounts used for fake reviews, impersonation, scraping or abuse.

2. Listings

• You may only claim or publish a listing for a business you own or are authorised to represent.
• Claims are verified before we transfer control of a listing.
• You warrant that your qualifications, insurance and any registrations you advertise are current and accurate.
• We may edit or remove listings that are misleading, unlawful or unsafe.

3. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine first-hand experience. Businesses cannot pay to remove, hide or reorder reviews, and paid modules do not affect ranking. Full details are in our review policy.

4. Subscriptions and modules

• Listings are free. Paid plans are billed yearly in AUD and include GST.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel any time in your dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Change-of-mind refunds are available within 14 days of a new subscription if no module has been substantially used.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights to a remedy where a service is not supplied with due care and skill.

5. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell our data, attempt to bypass access controls, or upload malicious code. Do not post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, threatening or infringes someone else's rights.

6. Our role and liability

We are a directory, not a party to any training or membership agreement. We do not endorse or guarantee any trainer or gym. To the extent permitted by law our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and will notify account holders by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
